I’m Marinda de Klerk. Here at my private music school, MUSIC SCHOOL FOR ALL, I teach children and adults of all abilities and all grades in piano, theory, aural training and sight reading. I prepare students for all levels of ABRSM exams, GCSE and A level practical and theory exams.

I won the National Teacher`s Union Prize for the best teaching student for the year 1987.

I have 30 years’ experience in teaching music to children and adults of all abilities. I have taught at primary school, secondary schools and university level.

I’m a registered member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and hold an Advanced DBS certificate.

I believe that learning to play an instrument has more long lasting benefits than just the advantage of being able to make lovely music. I teach to achieve the goals which the students set themselves, whether that is to learn music for fun or to take it up more seriously doing exams and possibly making a career out of it later.
